I want this to go to someone who is just starting out as a Tech, maybe even someone who wants to be licensed and doesn't have a radio. Think of it as paying it forward. It is a good little radio, not a powerhouse but will reach out further than an HT. I had it in my car when I first started and it served me well. It is a 2m1.25m70cm 25w.
